Consistent Archer Wins Summer Prizes

Berkhamsted Bowmen were pleased to announce this weekend that Jeannette Empson has won the Carol Dixon Memorial Trophy for 2003.

This trophy is awarded to the archer shooting the three best handicap adjusted scores shot on the club monthly Golden Arrow days over the summer season.  It commemorates the life of Carol Dixon, who with her husband Bill, were founder members of Berkhamsted Bowmen and the Herts County Association.

In addition Jeannette recently also won first prize in her class at the Herts County Western shoot.
