Berkhamsted Bowmen - News Update. Andrew Clarke wins GNAS medal. Berkhamsted Bowmens Andrew Clarke has been awarded the Grand National Archery Society Handicap Improvement Medal.  The medal, provided by the GNAS, the sports UK governing body, is awarded to the club member who has the greatest handicap improvement over the calendar year.  During 2002 Andrew reduced his handicap by 8 points from 51 to 43.  Andrew only completed a beginners course and joined the club in 2001, so this is the first year that he has qualified for the GNAS medal. Berkhamsted Bowmen will be running a beginners course starting early May 2003.  Anyone interested in learning more about the course, should contact the club secretary Mrs Barbara Anscombe on 01442 828325.
