Torrential afternoon rain engulfed the participants at the Southern Counties Archery Society annual Clout tournament, held at Luton Rugby Club on Sunday 8^th June.  The dry morning changed at lunchtime, but despite the rain and wind, the event continued with Gents shooting at a 12 inch square flag placed at 180 yards.  Robert Ient, of Berkhamsted Bowmen, maintained his concentration and finished second Gent in the Compound class.
