Berkhamsted Compound Archers Win Summer League

Each year the Herts County Archery Association run a postal league over the summer months to promote competition across the county.  This year five clubs submitted a compound team entry to the competition.  Unlike normal competitions the clubs shoot the qualifying round at their own ground and then submit the results to the competition organiser by post (or in these more modern days by e-mail).  By the end of the summer each club will have had the opportunity to shoot against each of the other clubs once.

On this occasion the Berkhamsted Compound Team (comprising Barry Anscombe, Ray Choy, Bob Gasking and Rob Ient) won all of their matches and so finished top of the league.
